Just in time for the playoffs!
We bought this set just before Christmas. It arrived on time and was fairly easy to set up. The delivery was prompt and courteous. We also loved the large box to use as a barrier for a new puppy. The television makes it like the people are in the living room when there are talking head shots. It is great for game playing, too. We love it! No blurring and we can see a clear picture from all angles.

Great LCD bad delivery
So far the LCD is OUTSTANDING. I bought this particular brand and model for many reasons but mainly for the wiselink. Wiselink is a USB port on the TV that allows you to watch video, view pictures, and listen to MP3's via a thumbdrive. I have a lot of digital video and audio so I just load up a 16 gb thumbdrive and leave it hooked up to the tv - this eliminates me from having to burn DVD's saving lots of money. Just remember to add .avi or .mp3 at the end of your videos and music so the tv will recognize the file.

I have basic cable but the LCD recognizes some digital channels being broadcast and they look great. The regular TV broadcast isn't as good but you get used to it pretty quick. I also have a Sony bd550 and XBOX 360. They both look amazing. Another thing about the XBOX is you can stream Netflix movies through it - some in HD and some Standard - both look great.

The only bad experience I have had with purchasing this LCD has nothing to do with the TV itself. The delivery company SUCKS!!!. My TV was sent on DEC 9th and I didn't receive it til almost 3 weeks later. Doesn't sound terrible until I tell you it was sent from a location that you can drive to in about 2 hours.

I contacted amazon (through email and by phone) because I couldn't find any information for CEVA anywhere and they gave me CEVA's customer service number. When I called CEVA they told me my package had been sitting in their wharehouse for over 2 weeks and he didn't know why I wasn't contacted - no notes were entered under my tracking number. I scheduled a delivery for the next day with a 4 hour window. Around the 5th hour I called CEVA again and was told they would call me back at their convienence. When I received the call the CSR was rude and basically just explained that they were busy because of the holiday season. I told them I understood but a courtesy call would have been the appropriate thing to do.

When the driver finally showed up his helper was his 9year old son who couldn't help but slam the box up and down the walls carrying it upstairs to my living room. They took the TV out of the box, set it on the floor, plug it in, and told me turn it with the remote. He did ask me to check it for damage before I signed for it. When he left he didn't take the debris or even set it on my TV stand.

Like I said the LCD itself is great, but I will never order anything from amazon.com again if CEVA is going to deliver it.

Loft Living
After approximately 2 years of vascillation as to wheter purchasing a flat screen was necessary I finally pulled the trigger. I won't say that I'm sorry I waited so long because if I had I would not have this incredible television in my home. It is, without doubt, the most amazing lcd televison in its class. Asthetically it by far takes the cake. As to the inner workings and the capabilities of this product I can't adequately describe how magnificent it is. The quality of picture is astounding. I've hooked it in to my wireless home theatre system which only serves to enhance an already wonderful sound quality.
I needed a unit that would allow me to see from all areas of my apartment as I live in a wide open loft space. Mission accomplished! Samsung has created a phenomenal television. Don't walk...RUN to buy this tv.

Best of the best
This is the second HD TV set that i have had in the last two years, and by far, this samsung is much much better than my previous one ( other brand ). This TV set met all my expectations and beyond. The only thing that can still be improved a little bit is the audio quality.

Samsung continues to live up to its reputation
I bought the LN40A750 as a gift for myself and it did not disappoint. A quick rundown:

Picture - Clear, great quality. The Automotion Plus (aka 120 Hz stuff) makes everything seem much more fluid, but I do recommend keeping it on the low setting for everything but maybe sporting events.

Sound - Surprisingly good for internal speakers. I'm assuming it's probably due to the built in woofer.

A slight complaint would be the wheel on the remote. Rather annoying, not really good for selecting anything. Not worth taking a star off the rating though. All in all, great TV.

Best TV I've ever had!!
This TV is awesome! Samsung has without a doubt the best 120hz tv's period! Yes that even includes Sony. Auto motion plus rocks and it really shows when you play videogames. Flat out everything looks better imo with auto motion plus on. Look if you don't get this tv you will regret it. Sony has tried to emulate Samsung but their 120hz tv's are not as good. Don't believe me, do your own research. Anyway I also have the tv on my network so I can stream my photos, video, and music from my computer flawlessly. Also auto motion plus gives a bump in quality to your video streams. Freakin sweet!!!!!!

Love, Love, Love this Samsung!!!
This is a high-ticket item and so like most of you I spent a lot of time researching reviews before deciding... I ultimately chose this model.

I can tell you that not one feature of this set has let me down or made me regret my purchase. I simply love this t.v.!! At this price point, there is simply no other set that comes close in performance and features, period. And trust me, I reviewed many, many sites and brands.

Also noteworthy, maybe the halo effect that others wrote about was a problem for them, but I do not have it and so either the manufacturer fixed the problem or it's an anomaly.

The picture clarity, ease of hookup and use, multitude of connection options, leading edge multi-media functions (like watching movies or looking at pictures from a flash thumb drive), wireless connectivity via the relatively cheap usb adapter bought separately, 120Hz processor, 4 ms response time for gaming consoles, etc...

Samsung knows LCD... this is the one. The only other sets I would buy over this one is the newer 8 or 9 series Samsung LCDs. The 9 series has a ridiculously high contrast ratio.

After MUCH research, this TV is fantastic!
I did a bunch of research on all of the different types of TVs. The LCDs are finally at a price point and quality that they are the good buy under 50". I headached a plasma, but the black levels on these LCDs are darn near as good.

Specifically, this Samsung 46A750 is a fantastic TV. I was going back and forth between this model, the 46A650 and the Sony 46Z4100. I think the Samsung looked better in the stores. I was really worried abut the glossy screen, but after looking at both the Sony and the Samsung in the store I did not think it would be a problem. Essentially both the Sony and the Samsung reflect light, the Sony just makes them look more fuzzy. In my house I have 4 windows across from my TV kind of diagonally and it has not been a problem. If anything the frame is more reflective than the screen.

I picked the 750 over the 650 mainly for the DLNA function and the subwoofer. I have not used the DLNA functions because I ended up getting a PS3 which is better for that. I have used the USB input to play MP3s and show pictures which has worked very well. I wanted the subwoofer because I just don't have room for the TV and speakers on the stand I have. In my opinion the sound with the TV is very good. The Sony may be better but this is more than adequate.

The picture is wonderful! I have it hooked to Dish HD, a WII, and the PS3. All look exceptional on this LCD! I have yet to find anything wrong with this TV, oh the remote is a little annoying but usable. The 120 HZ and automotion is very smooth. I have not had this before so yet to see how well I like it. The TOC red is not obnoxious at all. I think it is very pleasing and does not distract. The picture also looks good from most angles. It is one of the best for off-angle viewing.

I was close to buying the Sony because of the free blu-ray player but waited. When Amazon had the free Samsung BD-P1500 blu-ray with purchase I went for it! The shipping was fast and CEVA was very good.

I am very glad I got the Samsung. My TVs have always been Sony, so this is a new thing for me. You will not be sorry if you get this LCD, it is fantastic.

A great TV, I'm happy I bought it.
I've owned the Samsung LN46A750 for over a month now, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Like many others, I read lots of reviews and went to several stores to look at the TV sets. Since the beginning I wanted an LCD, not a plasma, because I had read that LCDs consume less electricity and are less heavy. My first choice was a Sony, but after reading several reviews in the Amazon site and on Consumer Reports, and having compared the TVs at the local Best Buy store, I decided to buy the Samsung. This has been by far the largest purchase that I've ever made on line, so I was quite hesitant and anxious about it. Everything turned out great, though. The price at Amazon was excellent (quite a deal, in fact), and the delivery service was fine. The set arrived a couple of days before the promised date, the company called to set up a time, and two people brought the set into my house, unpacked it and set it on the cabinet. They also made sure that the TV worked by turning it on. I have no complains at all, they were courteous and I got what I expected. I connected all the different cables and devices myself, it was easy and straightforward. I have HDTV service from Dish, and it's wonderful. The picture quality is excellent and the controls are easy to maneuver. I've been fiddling with color, contrast, brightness, etc. to get the picture that I like, and it hasn't been difficult. The sound quality is fine by me. There are several preset choices that would satisfy most people. The red edge around the screen doesn't bother me at all; on the contrary, I think it gives the TV a high-end finish and the result is quite beautiful. I recommend this TV without any qualms.

WOW !
This picture has to be seen to be believed. It was delivered on time and in great condition. The white glove service was very helpful. thumbs up

GREAT TV! VERY HAPPY!
I purchased this TV from a local H.H.Gregg, but I got them to match the price when Amazon had it at B001418WF4,899.00! This was cheaper than the lower 650 series Samsung and it comes with extra content and, in my opinion is more astheticly pleasing with a wider glass bezel rather than the "rounded" plastic corners of the 650. It also has VERY subtle DARK red around the outside that is barely noticeable. CNET and others complained of the red, but I can barely see it, even when looking for it.

Others also complained of the extended bezel corners caused an annoying reflection/glare by reflecting the light from the screen in the corners and causing some distraction, I have also looked for this and did so on the store model as well and have not noticed ANY distracting light or reflections. I have heard that there are different screens and coatings that may have been used that could contribute to this affect. My TV says SQ01 as a version number which may tell those concerned some info about my specific model.

The complaints about the extra content are valid as it truly does feel "tacked on", however it is a nice feature that can be used to add ambient background during parties and to show off your TV at the same time, as the pictures that come with it are stunningly gorgeous. The fact that I got this TV cheaper than the 650 Series that did not come with this content (i.e. cooking recipes, wallpaper type pics, children's games, etc.) is really the only reason I can justify getting it.

I have also found the complaints about the remote "wheel" (like a cheap version of the iPod navigation wheel) to be true for the most part, as it IS NOT very responsive...BUT I very rarely notice b/c you can just click the bottom, top and left/right portions to have it act as arrows would, which IS VERY responsive. I find myself not even utilizing or missing the wheel feature.

I have set each input for the various accessories I have, being Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. The PS3 input is set for dark room Blu-ray viewing per CNET's recommended settings. It IS BEAUTIFUL! I recently viewed my friend's 50" Sony DLP, watching Casino Royal "on below DVD downloaded quality granted" but noticed that the blacks were DARKER on HIS, but with the overall better picture quality and brighter picture I am still EXTREMELY pleased with this TV! Very little color adjustment is needed out of the box, I just left mine alone and set it on WARM 2! The "Game" mode for the 360 and PS3 when playing games is great!. The "Sports" mode is very accessible through the E.Mode button via the remote allowing a quick change from the dark room film settings for my cable box! I would only recommend (as many others have said) the 120Hz being turned on for SPORTS ONLY, unless you want to see cheap background sets and props in Blu-rays and DVDs! I noticed many of these in Pirates of the Caribbean, The Strangers, and The Dark Knight when playing with the 120Hz settings.

Overall great TV and got a great deal thanks to Amazon's pricing and H.H. Gregg's price matching policy! Love this TV it is great mounted on my wall in my bedroom!

Great TV - Ln52a750,
An absolutely amazing LCD TV, great for games and the picture quality is exceptional. My suggestions to you are - 1. get the ps3 - 2 - get the ln52a750 3- enjoy life.

Great TV
I bought this TV around Oct this year. Everything looks great! Had to upgrade my old Dell 32" LCD. Shopped around for a while. Did the whole LCD versus plasma thing. I chose the Samsung LCD because the of the price, otherwise I was looking at the Pioneer Kuro.

The "Halo" doesn't bother me one bit. I do have it, but only noticed it after I read a few reviews. I'm too busy watching the screen to notice. Watching Blu-ray / HD-DVD (yes I do have one) or my DVD looks awesome on this. Make sure you have the 120Hz Auto thing turned on while you use your up-converting player.

My ONLY qualm with this unit is the bezel. I bought the 750 because I liked how the bezel added a "touch of class." The only problem with it is that because it's "piano black," when the unit is off I can see that the panel is not flat. There are little "dimples" or imperfections in the glass. I'm used to looking at the body lines of cars so I see those flaws in almost everything I look at. Doesn't affect the picture quality to me, so "oh well."

Best TV on the market for the price
I purchased this same TV from Circuit City on Black Friday in 2008 and I paid well over the currently listed price of 1886 which I think is a STEAL. The TV cost me 2400 but it was worth every penny. Not only is the detail and picture clarity super crisp, but the 120HZ option turns your TV into a sideline window when watching any sports. Its just as if you are AT the game. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this TV!

Great TV!
I have had this TV for 2 weeks now, and I[m totally in love with it.
It looks great and sounds wonderful!
The size is just right and it looks as good turned off..its slim frame and touch of red on the borders makes it look stylish.
I would totally recommend it.
