Fits well for Panasonic Viera 65"
What can I write that isn't already covered in the other ~80 reviews? I guess only 1-2 small things specific to my experience with the Panasonic Viera 65" plasma I bought it for. Assembly instructions were pretty clear, but I ended up a bit perplexed that the recommendation is 6 lag bolts into studs to hold the mount on the wall, while there are only 4 bolts that hold the TV to the mount. I would also comment that the connectors on the back of the TV make it a bit difficult (even with the extra space from the "adjustable" mount rather than low-profile mount) to connect component video cables once the TV is hung on the wall. I would recommend if you have any concerns about the amount of space available behind your TV to use the small spacers that come with the mount.
Space for cables may not such a problem if you have 3 people to help with install and all the cables come out of the wall directly behind the TV, but if you have only two people, and you have to fish the cables behind the TV after it is hung (for example if you have game system, dvd/blu-ray, receiver etc on shelf underneath the TV) there is not much space for the component video cables to bend down between the connector and the wall. Overall solid construction, and the safety screws, although awkward to tighten once the TV is hung, offer a nice measure of security that accidental bumps, or earthquakes, or other jostling won't ever knock the TV off the mount.

Good Buy
I have been very happy with my purchase of the Sanus VMPL3-B Tilt Wall Mount. This is my second one I have purchssed in the past two months. I decided to purchase the 27" to 84" size in case I ever buy a bigger TV so I don't have to buy a another wall mount. I had no problems mounting it or mounting the TV on it. I would recommend buying it for the money. Best Buy wanted something like 0 for one that would fit a large TV over 60" so I was pleased to find this for the money.

Great mount
I bought this mount to hang on the wall above my fireplace for a samsung 58" plasma and it couldn't have worked any better. And this mount came with tilting brackets which worked out great since I have 10ft ceilings and wanted to angle the tv down a bit. It's heavy duty and will be able to adjust to any other tv I get years down the road. It's also a good idea to get someone to help you mount it since it's a little on the heavy side.

Great mounting bracket
This was the first wall mount I've done, so I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered this mounting bracket. I'd read the reviews of several different units though, and the Sanus VMPL3-B seemed to come out on top in terms of user feedback. In the end I went with this system because of the positive reviews and the fact that it would support TV's larger than 55".
I'm extremely satisfied with this mount. As others described, it's extremely strong, easy to install and it comes with every bolt, screw, washer and spacer you could possibly need. The fact that it includes both flat mounting brackets and brackets that allow you to tilt the TV is an added bonus.
It's basically a two part system. There is a wall plate that comes in three pieces (so it'll pack into a small box). You assemble those into a single wide unit (the three parts overlap), then screw that into two or three studs in the wall. Be sure to use a level at this point - there is no way to tip the TV left or right after the flat bracket is mounted to the wall, so make sure the wall bracket is level. Then if you want to be able to tilt the TV down (if you are mounting it high on the wall), you use the tilt brackets. If you want the TV flat on the wall, use the non-tilt brackets. Either way the brackets are bolted directly to the back of the TV through the VESA mounting screw holes. I chose the flat mount since I wanted the TV as close to the wall as possible. The tilt brackets are a little deeper and result in the TV mounting a bit further from the wall.
It took two of us to lift my 160 pound Panasonic TV up to the wall plate, but it was quite easy to hook the brackets on the back of the TV to the wall plate, and once the locking levers were pushed down it made for a very strong, very secure mount. I have no concerns about this coming off the wall until I want to take it off. I highly recommend the Sanus VMPL3-B.

Excellent!!
Bought this for a 63" Samsung plasma, and it worked great. It came with extention pieces if the holes in the back of the TV are spaced too far apart, but right out of the box, the bracket fit the Samsung perfect. It contained all of the hardware necessary (screws and lag bolts for the mount), and it is a very high quality....well built.
At about 110#'s that TV is going nowhere. Congrats to Sanus on making a fine mount.
