Terrific TV
Excellent TV, I cannot be happier with this purchase. Colors, features, everything is nice with this set.

My Home Theater set.
KDL-46XBR6
STR-DA3400ES
PS3

Defective remote
Sony xbr6, 46 inch version: very fine picture, but troublesome remote. The "Jump" function does not always work. The TV displays the message Now Tuning but the channels do not switch. This was a problem I also had with the Sony Z-series TV this summer and that is why I traded for the XBR6. A Sony repair man was sent to "professionally evaluate" the TV. He replaced the main circuit board and remote sensor. This did not solve the problem. He then told me that he cannot repair the unit by replacing any more parts. He called Sony directly from my home and told them the same. I was promised some contact from Sony. It has not happened. After several more calls to Sony, I got promises of return calls which did not come. Now I have a defective unit that according to the repair tech cannot be fixed and Sony is not responding to my concerns.

Has no separate Antenna/Cable Inputs
The white glove delivery was smooth and picture and sound were the high quality I expect from Sony. But what a shock when I tried to connect the yagi antenna. On page 12 I was told to "go buy an A/B switch" and on page 46, as if an afterthought, I was told how to "Add Digital Channels" by using my A/B switch to select the antenna and doing another chanel scan (aka "Auto Program"). But FIRST you have to TELL the TV that you have swicched to the Antenna. This is the ONLY method, (nothing on the remote). This is what you have to do any time you want to "pop" over to the off-air local to see if, or enjoy, the program of interest in HD.
1. Press "Home" 2. Click three times to the left 2. Click twice up. 3. Press the center button (equivalent to "enter"),4. click once to the right 5, Click once down 6. click "enter" 7. click return three times.

I will not be buying another TV in my life time and given that the White Glove crew kindly took away the packing and all the inconvenience to return --- I'm stuck sitting with a multi thousand dollar boat anchor.

Simply Amazing
As the title states, this set is simply amazing. This set is replacing my 32" KDL-32S3000, which was also a fantastic TV, just a little too small for my new residence.

Anyway, the color is gorgeous, and the picture quality is astounding. The sound is alright, as is to be expected from small in-cabinet speakers. Sony's PS3-esq menu system is a nice touch. The TV actually uses the second revision of it, so it makes a little more sense on this one than it did on the older models.

Feature set is great as well. Sony has a lot of nice little touches on this unit really help it stand out. The logo glows, for example, but you can shut it off. In the off setting, it still lights up when the TV is powered on or off, but it gently fades out after a few seconds. Ambient light sensor to control the brightness is a nice, as well as the built-in (and free) TV Guide (though I presume this would be less useful for folks using a cable box).

The remote is nice - just like the rest of the bravia line, and it has a programmable backlight too. It will function as a universal remote, and has the buttons to control a VCR or DVD player as well.

All in all, this is a fantastic set, and I'm very excited to continue to use it.

Picture Perfect!
Just got my very own last week. The picture is excellent, sound is good (though I use my surround sound), sleek look and perfect color! Can't say enough about the picture quality. I've seen comparative models at the store and they're inferior in color quality. I have Wii, PS3, DVD, hooked up to it and they all look very crisp and clear, especially the PS3 (blu-ray)!

Worth the Price
I bought the Sony 52XBR6 after nine months of research, including reading reviews of various LCD models on Amazon.com. I found the reviews very helpful so that's why I'm taking the time to write this.

I was considering buying a 52-inch Samsung model because of the many positive reviews, including top ratings in Consumers Reports. However a couple of the reviews mentioned Samsung's highly reflective screen. That wouldn't work in my Arizona home. The XBR6 is in my family room, the southern wall of which is all windows so we get lots of sunlight. No problem for the Sony.

When I ordered the XBR6 I also bought a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player and a Sony STR-DG720 audiovisual receiver, all through Amazon. I've only had them for a week so still learning about them but they work great. Last night I watched a blu-ray disc about Australia. The picture was so clear I could stand within two feet of the screen without seeing pixels - amazing.

I don't have a home theater set up yet. For audio I'm alternating between the TV's speakers and two JBL speakers (Model 4312 Control Monitor) I've had for years. The DG720 receiver's audio settings allowed me designate the JBLs as Front Speakers and combine the 7.1 multi-channels through them without loss. The receiver's audio settings are so flexible I can later add speakers, such as a front speaker and/or a sub-woofer, and just change the settings to accomodate them. I really like that.

My only complaints so far are the user-unfriendly operating manuals for the blu-ray disc and especially for the receiver. Here's a couple of paragraphs from the STR-DG720 Operating Instructions:

"Sound may be interrupted when the sampling frequency, the number of channels or the audio format of the audio output signals from the playback component is switched" (page 21)

"IF YOU CONNECT A SUB WOOFER. This receiver will generate a low frequency signal for output to the sub woofer when there is no LFE signal, which is a low-pass sound effect output from a sub woofer to a 2 channel signal. However, the low frequency signal is not generated for 'NE06 CIN' or 'NE06 MUS' when all speakers are set to 'LARGE'." (page 53)

You audiophiles out there might read these and say "of course" but my response was "huh?" Anyway, by comparison the TV's operating instuctions were a piece of cake.

One final comment. I chose the slower, no cost, delivery option but still received the White Glove service because of the size of the TV. The delivery company's paperwork including the recommendation that I keep the large carton for a while in case the TV had to be returned. However, the truck driver said he never had to return a Sony.

High end Sony
Can't find a fault with the TV - no white sparkles here. Price dropped 250.00 5 days after I bought and Amazon would not budge.

A joy to behold!
I am simply thrilled with this TV! I did a lot of research over a period of many months before making this purchase and it really paid off. I got a great price from Amazon and the product itself is wonderful! Great picture, terrific color, easy to set up and use, great features, very attractive sleek design. It allows you to either go with the standard settings or make all kinds of adjustments to the sound and picture from the easy-to-use menu options. You can customize your settings (and save them) for the various HDMI and other inputs. I ordered it late on a Sunday evening and it was already out for delivery to my home on Wednesday morning. Pilot Air Freight called ahead to make arrangements for whatever delivery time was convenient for me. You choose your own time right down to the half hour, in fact, my deliver person was actually early! They gave me free white gloves delivery with a very friendly, prompt, and careful delivery person. They bring it into the house, unpack it and put it on your TV stand, all in just a few minutes--and in perfect condition! Non-HD over the air broadcasts look fairly decent on it. Ordinary DVDs look excellent--even from an ordinary DVD player. It has a USB port so you can look at your digital photos on the big 52" screen, and believe me it makes them look fantastic--and huge! It's at its best when you watch Blu-Ray movies on it. They just look incredibly beautiful and the sound is gorgeous, even with just the onboard speakers. I can't wait to hear how it sounds with my new receiver and surround speakers! And it can play Master Audio disks. You can't go wrong with this TV. The price is right and it's worth every penny and then some. I love it! Thanks again to Amazon for a great product at a great price with super fast high quality free delivery!

Dazzling picture
This was a big jump up. The last TV was a 6 year old 20 inch JVC tube, so you might think we would be easy to dazzle. Nevertheless I did a lot of research before springing for this one. Got it to watch DVDs; we don't have cable or dish, just an indoor antenna. We were really surprised at all the new (digital) channels we got, even without upgrading our antenna --so don't be hasty in assuming you need to have an outdoor antenna, cable, etc., especially if you are in a metropolitan area.

The old analog stations (say, channel 9) come in pathetically, but usually there are other stations associated with each number. For example, we now get digital 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 --three different programs where we used to get one. This was all a pleasant surprise. We got digital versions of all the old channels and 7-8 new ones. We even get a San Jose station that we haven't seen in years.

Everything on the digital channels is gorgeous. When I was shopping I saw big HDTVs where the non-HD picture was stretched and distorted, but you don't have to set it that way. You can set it so that each program comes in at its optimal picture quality. Some day, hopefully, it will all be HD, but the SD stuff looks pretty good on this set! As for the Bravia XBR6 specifically, great black-blacks, but your detail within shadows is not sacrificed. It came set to "vivid" color setting, but I find the standard setting more natural. REally stunning picture! Haven't watched any blu-ray disks yet (no player) but the standard DVDs look fabulous!

This was a big purchase but I am very happy with it. And--at least in the SF Bay area-- delivery was faster than projected and the CEVA white glove service was fine. They do not connect your components for you but they do put it on a stand and power it up so you can be sure all your pixels, sound, etc, function.

XBR clouds continue
Purchased the 40" Sony Bravia XBR6 LCD TV hoping that this newest release of the XBR series would be "mura" free. Mura is the technical term for a cloudy looking background image appearing on an LCD screen in dark or black scenes. The mura in the set I purchased covered a good 60% of the total area. Sony agreed to replace the LCD display panel after it was examined by a certified technician in our home. I decided NOT to go that route as the set was only one week out of the box and one month from its manufacture date. Besides, my research uncovered that the cost of the part was twice the cost of what I paid for the new set in the first place. Amazon customer service department and CEVA/Eagle shipping were both very professional and responsive to the problem, and I was promptly credited the full purchase price.

Since we've happily owned a 42" Sony plasma flat screen TV for three years now, we decided to stay with plasma technology. LCD technology has certainly improved over the years, but mura problems still exist, even in the newest models. BUYERS BEWARE - save ALL original packing materials for at least two weeks after your new set arrives. MURA DOES NOT SHOW UP IMMEDIATEY OUT OF THE BOX. Carefully examine the screen during "blackouts" on the screen; between commercials or channel changes. AND, sit low to the screen and look up a slightly upward angle during the examination.

SONY XBR6 40 INCH
AGAIN..SONY HAS OUTDONE ITSELF...WITH THE XBR6 SERIES. THE 40 INCH SCREEN IS PERFECT FOR THE BEDROOM. A DELIGHT TO TURN ON...WITH EXCELLENT PICTURE QUALITY...CRISP AND CLEAR...WITH ABSOLUTE TRUE COLOR...THAT HAS TO BE SEEN. THE ONLY FLAT SCREEN BETTER...
WOULD BE THE XBR8. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND DELIVERY. AMAZON YOUR THE BEST.

Great, But, Why No 10-Bit Display?
I ordered this television from Electronics Expo via Amazon and it arrived a little over a week from the ordering date. They originally said they had the television in stock and it was ready to ship, however, I called them up a few days later and they said they were awaiting restocking of this television from their warehouse and then they would ship it. I contacted Electronics Expo a few days later after that and they informed me my television had been shipped and they gave me a tracking number and a phone number to call the shipping company. Arranged for the shipping company to deliver the television the next day. Surprisingly, there was only one delivery guy, so, I had to assist him carry the television downstairs, which was not a problem, however, there should probably be two delivery guys.

Now, regarding the television itself. Last March, I purchased a Sony KDL-V3000 40" LCD (2007 Model), which I am very satisfied with. So, please keep in mind that I am sort of comparing this older model to this newer television, since my eyes are so use to the older model. Essentially, for some reason, Sony downgraded this years W series to a 8-bit display from a 10-bit display last year. My V series from last year has a 10-bit display as well and this was sort of my benchmark when comparing and contrasting my new television to my older one. Though probably only noticeable to someone in my situation, that is, someone who is so use to a 10-bit display, the difference of quality of the color and vividness is noticeable (though marginally) of a 10-bit display vs. an 8-bit display. It's hard to explain. The colors are just more deeply detailed and more vivid on my older 10-bit display. So, if extremely vivid, jump at you color is your primary concern, you should probably consider an XBR television or even last years 10-bit display LCD's. I'm not sure why Sony downgraded their non-XBR series this year to 8-bit displays, whether it be economically, maybe cutting back on input costs to increase their profits or maybe they're seeking to entice consumers to spend that extra cash and go for the XBR series. Again, let me reiterate, you would probably only notice this marginal difference if your eyes had been so already accustomed to the 10-bit display, like mine.

All in all, I'd say this Sony is a solid television. For a 52", the television is pretty light and it only took two people to mount it to one of those mounting stands, which, you remove the base and screw the television onto the mounting stand. The picture quality is above average and the frame of the television is aesthetically pleasing. As always with a Sony, the layout of the settings are intuitive and well designed. The 120hz setting has improved the motion flow of the picture, however, the picture can look too video-like if put on high setting. The illumination of the Sony emblem is neat, though, it can be distracting while viewing, thus, I keep it off. Though, I do miss the vivid detail of a 10-bit display, you can't go wrong with a Sony.

Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-52W4100 Review
Order new via Amazon. Excellent delivery service. Debated between this Sony model and Samsung LN650, but debate ended after seeing excessive glare on Samsung screen. Picture is superb, could not be happier.

great tv great delivery time
ordered the sony kdl-52w4100 on friday and received it the next wednesday - delivered and brought into the house and set on the stand. (Also ordered some Blue ray movies at the same time - it's saturday and they're still not here - went by smail mail.) After ordering, there was a difficulty in getting the Amazon credit card to clear the purchase but was cleared up in a short time. Amazon responded to my communications very quickly.
This tv gives a picture that is probably as perfect as you can find. The picture is great right out of the box. The colors are accurate and not fake looking like some sets. Faces don't have that clay-like look of some others. The cabinet is nice looking and when the hdmi cables are threaded correctly, no wires are visible even through the clear cavity built into the lower part of the set. That design is actually rather neat looking.
The sound is good for tv only sound. I have a sound system hooked up and it is very good.
I chose the sony not only because of their reputation but also I think they stand behind their product better than Samsung and some other brands. So far I am very pleased.

LOVE THIS TV
I LOVE THIS TV. I AM NOT A VIDEOPHILE, JUST YOUR AVERAGE JOE. I MUST SAY FOR THE PRICE THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE. WORKED GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX AND THE PRICE I GOT WAS UNBEATABLE. SHIPPED FOR FREE, ORDERED WEDNESDAY AND HAD IT THE NEXT MONDAY. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WHOLE DEAL IS POSITIVE AND I WOULD ORDER ANOTHER TODAY IF I NEEDED IT OR HAD THE MONEY!

....just outstanding!!
First LCD tv we own. The Amazon delivery was extremely fast - delivered in 2 days. The picture is outstanding. The TV and everything about it is suberb. No complaints whatsoever. I waited a month to review in case I could find something wrong. I cannot say enough nice things about it. The price paid here on Amazon was 0 less then BB. Shipping free. No tax. What more could you want? I would not hesitate to recommend this TV or Amazon for the purchase.

Stunning clarity; beautiful picture
After purchasing a Sony Bravia 46XBR4 for our family room, I decided to upgrade our master bedroom TV to HD as well (once you go HD you never go back!) I thought the downgrade from the Bravia X series to this would be, well, just that - a downgrade. I was happily proved wrong! This TV features a stunningly crisp picture, vivid colors, no pixelation problems and unlike OP's, I get great clarity even w/o the HDMI cable. It is an absolutely gorgeous TV at a reasonable-for-HD price. Set up was easy, the tools menu could be a little easier to navigate, but none of that will matter once you've seen its true beauty. The integrated sound system is also really good. I have not missed the X-series Bravia features at all, to be honest. You cannot go wrong with this purchase.

I bought mine tax-free at a military base so I can't comment on delivery/price of this, but I will say that overall, Amazon's prices are the best and I have used the white-glove delivery for other items and loved it. I would not hesitate to Amazon it had I not had access to the base.

sony w series tv
what a wonderful tv! it looks & sounds great. could not have made a better or cheaper choice! it's not cheap , but cheaper than the store's around here. I highly recommend it.

AWESOME TV!
We just purchased a Sony Bravia KDL-40W4100 after searching many stores and on-line. The picture is something else. I have a digital camera and my teacher suggested that a 1080p resolution would be the best. I also wanted a TV with 120Hz. We found the KDL-40W4100 to be within our price range and having the features we wanted. After a little bit of technical difficulties (I'm not very savvy when it comes to setting up connections), we were able to connect our Sony personal DVD player and watch DVDs on the big screen. There, too, the picture was amazing. I would heartily recommend this TV.

Excellent product
After much internet research I ordered the TV from Amazon.com. The price was great, the delivery flawless and the product is exactly what it is cracked up to be.

Sony Bravia W-Series 40-inch LCD HDTV
This HDTV is awesome! The picture stands out when viewing all types of video. I also purchased a Sony Upscaling DVD player that makes my existing DVD collection like brand new. Brilliant color, smooth transitions. This television is great. I have had it for about a month and enjoy watching it every day.

very satisfied
The price is right from Amazon. Delivered on time, the guy opened the box
and made sure it worked before he left.
The picture on both tuner and dvd met expectations, both fine.
If you want to tinker there are more than enough picture adjustments.
Be sure you lower brightness and contrast to standard, they are way too
high from the factory.
I looked at the panasonic 37" but it seemed a seemed somewhat lower in
quality.
Update: After about a month usage, both the HD and DVD pictures
are simply beautiful.

Sony Bravia XBR-Series KDL-37XBR6 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV
Very pleased with my purchae. I shopped around and found Amazon.com offered it for the best price. It was delivered within a few days. The TV has the most life-like picture. It also sounds great. I'm a big fan of SONY products and this TV only reassures me that SONY makes a superior product.

Just what I wanted
This was the best tv I found from doing on line and in store research. I've always like Sony tvs, and this one is no exception. I does what it says it will do and do it very well. As we all know that is not always true with a lot of products. I especially like the pc hook-up. Works really well with my Macbook Pro.

So close...if only it was a 10-bit TV. Banding is a bummer.
If you're looking for a great 37 inch HDTV, there aren't many choices. I found Samsung, Sharp and Sony as the highest rated in this size. Unfortunately all the best technology is only available at 40 inches and up, so you will be making some sacrifices to stay under 40".

PICTURE QUALITY

One of the factors that influenced my decision was an Amazon review for the 37" Samsung, which compared it to this Sony and claimed the Sony was 120Hz. Let me make it clear -- this TV is NOT 120Hz. It is 60Hz.

Due to the fact this TV uses 8-bit processing instead of 10-bit, there is major banding of gradients. As a web graphics professional it is extremely obvious to me, to the point of being annoying and distracting when there are scenes that have strong gradients. But I may be more sensitive to this due to my profession. Had I known that 10-bit processing alleviates this problem I would have made that a must-have feature for my TV purchase. Other than the banding issues, I'm very happy with the picture quality.

INTERFACE

The interface for the TV is sensational. Very adjustable, and very sexy and enjoyable to use. The only nit is the interface for changing inputs. If you are using a TiVo remote, you will find it tedious. Pressing the input button will first show you a menu of all possible inputs. The one you are currently on is highlighted. You must hit the input button again to highlight the next input. Then you must wait a few seconds, and the TV will select the new input. The interface insists on showing all possible inputs in the menu -- and there are ELEVEN! Unused inputs are grayed out and cannot be selected. Still, it's extremely annoying to see ELEVEN inputs when I'm only using two.

HARDWARE

The bezel is nice and thin, which means this TV doesn't take up much space for a 37-incher. The Sony styling is very appealing -- much nicer than the best Samsung and Sharp in this size. However, the status lights ( in the clear area below the TV but above the speakers ) are almost impossible to see in a well lit room. It takes a while for the TV to turn on and it makes no sound when powered up. Without the feedback of a green light, it can be difficult to tell if you've succeeded in turning the TV on.

The TV is also quite thin and light. I had no problems mounting it on a stand myself.

EXTRAS

It supports Bravia Link, which makes life with my Sony DVD player a lot easier. By using an HDMI cable, the TV is able to control the DVD player. The DVD player turns off and on automatically as needed and the TV remote can play, pause forward, etc. One less remote on my coffee table. Wonderful!

This TV is also has a DMEX connector, so you can use all the latest pricey add-ons that Sony is making, like the Internet Video Link.

REMOTE

The included remote is one of the nicest I've had with a TV in a long time. It looks beautiful, is simple, nicely sized, and doesn't feel cheap. I only use the remote when I want to watch a DVD, so I may not be the ideal candidate to speak about the remote. I did notice the channel and volume buttons are placed quite low and far away from the circular directional control.

IN SUMMARY

You make sacrifices today when you get a TV under 40 inches. There's a lot to like about this TV, but it seems that the Sharp Aquos LC37D64U has 10-bit processing which makes a significant difference when there are scenes that require lots of subtle shades of the same color. This TV doesn't handle those kinds of scenes well -- lots of banding. I haven't seen the Sharp myself, but based on the tech specs I would advise anyone looking for a TV in this size and price range to check it out.

I have never been more pleased than with my purchase of the Sony Bravia XBR6 37" TV. It is a fantastic product. From order to delivery, it was a wonderful experience.

Great TV, Great Price!!
So far I have been very happy with this TV, I bought it to use as a bedroom TV.

Now, I have had and HD TV in my living room for a few years now (another Sony) and now that I have this one I see some of the changes made to the newer TVs and now I want to replace the living room TV because of these changes. Seems like there have been some very nice 'software' upgrades as far as the menu system and some of the features I wish my older TV had.

I didn't buy it from Amazon but I did get it for the same price. Very good price for a very good TV. Very impressive HD picture, and I have it hooked up to my computer and it makes a great monitor. If I wish something was different I would like change the source of the PIP window when using my computer, as it stands right now this can not be done I can only watch an over the air antenna while using my computer.

Over all great product for a great price, just shop around.

Beautiful Picture - Great Value - Highly Recommended!
I love this television. The picture is gorgeous and requires no adjustments. I'm using it with my DirecTV HD connection. 720P is just fine for this screen size - you really don't need 1080P and couldn't probably tell the difference on a 32" screen.

Great birthday present!
My Mom asked me to recommend a flat-screen so she can be ready for the change to digital next year. We chose the 32-inch Bravia based on our satisfaction with our 40-inch, purchased through Amazon.com last January. The picture on the Bravia is fantastic and Amazon's price, service and follow-up are unparalleled!

Not Good
My TV was a dud. It would format the HD picture with a strange border at the bottom of the screen. I had to return. Amazon was very helpful with my return.

SonyLCDTV
Bought this TV for the bedroom- picture quality is very good
Have 46" Sony LCD in my family room that is a year old & love it so purchased another Sony. I think the price was excellent on Amazon & it arrived within a few days- ahead of the original delivery date.

Shame on Sony
I decided to return this Sony Bravia TV- immediately after reading the install instructions and before plugging it in. The reason? Sony's ridiculous solution and instructions for making sure the TV doesn't fall over if one chooses not to hang it on the wall and, instead, chooses their second choice of trying to prop it up on a flat surface with the stupidly tiny prop they provide with the 19" Bravia. Their "safety" instructions for using their silly little prop say to drill holes in my fine furniture on which it will sit and to screw the tiny prop down to the furniture. They also suggest you attach a cord to the top back of the TV and tie the cord to a hook screwed into the wall behind it. How dumb is that??? You tell me. I originally decided to buy a lightweight, 19" LCD HDTV so that I could pick it up and move it around the house if and when I chose to. That silly, tiny prop is the dumbest idea I've seen in a long, long time. I've long admired and purchased Sony products for their quality and integrity. But the above described flaw is indeed a seriously poor design judgement. Shame on Sony for not providing a sturdy pedestal like the 19" Samsung I bought instead.

Excellent, simple to set up tv
This tv is beautiful and easy to set up.The worst of it is that it's best viewed when fully vertical, and the prop in the back isn't long enough for that, so I needed a piece of wood under it to raise it. It doesn't have its verticality worked out - unless you mount it on a wall. It has outlets and inlets for seemingly any device, and suggests hookups. It's been a daily part of my life for a month, and it's beautiful, and easy to control and hook up. I would highly recommend it.

Perfect TV for me
We looked a few brands of TV, Vizio, Samsung, and Sony. We found that Sony has the best picture quality, that is, more realistic color and undistorted details. Samsung seems a bit too bright for me. And the size
turned out to be perfect for my 12'x12' living room (I originally thought about 42' and 40' TV). we are happy with it.

Sony 37L4000 WOW
I had looked for a long time for an HD LCD TV. I was very reluctant to buy, as I wanted an excellent TV for a great price. We looked at many tv's at all the typical stores and finally decided on Sony, as we have always had good lcuk with Sony. Then the big question, what size and what resolution. We took measurements and decided 37" was just right for our room. Then the resolution. Had to be 1080p right, wrong. You don't have to have the highest resolution all the time. The 1080 signals come in great in on the 720. Remember it is still an improvement over the CRT that you are upgrading from. Now where to buy the tv. Checked all around, watched Amazon for several weeks, noticed the price dropping and kept watching. Finally got to my price point and I bought. Next week the price went up by 0. Amazon delivered, arrived perfect and they set it up. It is AWESOME! I am extremely happy with my decision. I would do this over again. Now for the TV in the family room.....

Great TV
Quick delivery, excellent product. I like the fact that I can hook my laptop up to this TV and get HD quality internet broadcasting.

Picture Perfect
This Sony Bravia 37" HDTV is picture perfect right out of the box. The delivery was early and set up was friendly and fast.

Great Service from amazon.com
We ordered a TV from amazon.com and were amazed at the service and the speedy delivery, with a phone call to set up the date for the delivery. The two gentlemen who delivered the TV were very polite and hooked up our new TV with our new DVD/VHS recorder, with little fanfare, at no additional charge (but, of course, we did give them a nice tip). I didn't give the item a 5-star review because we haven't yet gotten our HD service, so I can't fairly rate the picture until that is in place.

Thanks, amazon

A

Vertical Line on the left
This 2 star rating is just for Sony, if it is other brand i would have given 3, nobody expects a LCD panel to be replaced with in 9 months from the purcahse date, loved the picture quality for 8 months, after that a thin vertical line started to appear on the left side of the screen it will remain for few mintues but after that it will disappear, when checked with SONY they told me to contact the local repair shop, repair person came and told me that panel needs to be replaced, since it was under warranty they replaced it for free, but still i didnt expected this from SONY.

Beautiful picture - Lasted only 9 months!
I've absolutely loved this T.V. for 9 months, then the screen went blank. I can't complain about the warranty/repair process so far (although they intend to replace most of the components to avoid giving me a new T.V. and a new warranty). If, like me, this is your first time buying a T.V. of this price, keep in mind the factory warranty is only one year, and the these LCD T.Vs are clearly more trouble-prone than our old picture tubes.

The picture clearly rates "5 stars." I rated it 2 Stars because I expected my 00 T.V. to last at least a year.

Great
TV and picture much better than in the stores...superb picture even in sun filled living room. Easy to hook up, took a call to the cable company to figure what combination of buttons to push to engage HD. Had read many suggestions on how to set all the various options for picture quality, best was as is out of the box. First thing on after setting up was a football game...you could actually see each individual blade of grass...still sit back and go ohhhhh...wow...

This TV Rocks!
This TV is awesome. - the picture is fabulous and the HD feature is very cool. It was simple to set up to my direcTV. The free delivery on this TV really helped as I didn't have to deal with trying to get a huge 52" TV home by myself. I would recommend this TV to all.

Sony Bravia
We have been very impressed with the TV. Great Pictures. Easy to learn remote and screens. We have been enjoying all the movies and the TV shows in High Def. Couldn't have picked a better TV or Model.

Love Love Love it!!!
