Awesome picture! Awesome price!
I have to say, I was a little hesitant buying a TV from Samsung. I used to work in retail electronics, and they weren't known for high quality products. However, I studied the reviews on this Plasma TV from numerous web sites and finally took the plunge. I am glad I did. I definitely got more than I expected.

I just hope I don't have any problems in the future with it. I have had bad experiences with Samsung customer service. Hopefully it has gotten better, as their products, based on what I see from this TV, certainly have.

Really Great Purchase !!!
This Plasma TV is really great. It has converted my rarely visited basement to the most popular area of the home. Some of the movies & Discovery channel programs, in HD, are really out of this world. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. For the basement a Plasma was preferred because there is less light and I heard LCDs would be too bright for here. This TV had the best picture quality for the price. Delivery & installation were as promised. I have been shopping with Amazon for quite some time, but this is by far my biggest pruchase from them. Not disappointed though .. would definitely recommend this purchase.

I'm no expert
We recently remodeled our home and created a recess in the wall perfect for a 58" TV. I researched for some time during the remodeling precess and narrowed it down to a Panasonic or a Samsung. We finally decided to order the Samsung 650 Touch of Red on Wed night about 9pm. My delivery was to be Thursday of the next week. My wife got a call on Friday afternoon, less than 48 hours later saying that they wanted to deliver our TV. We had them wait until the evening.

The guy that delivered was real helpful, brought it in, hooked it up to show that it worked and work it did. We run the sound trough our Surround Sound. The picture is beautiful and I received it as quickly as if I had bought it locally. I saved 0 on the unit and 0 in taxes.

This wasn't my first Amazon order but this was by far the most ezpensive one. Amazon is great and the TV is too.

SUPER BUY!!!
This Samsung 58" plasma 650 television is superb! The picture is fabulous and the price I picked it up for from Amazon was great. I would recommend this television for anyone who likes a large plasma. It's got a great appearance and can be optioned for just about everything. I had it put in my Media Room and was glad I ordered the 58" 650 as opposed to the smaller plasma. I also have a Panasonic 42" plasma which has been number one rated in the past for picture quality and I can tell you the Samsung 650 rivals it.

ULTIMATE HD/BLU-RAY EXPERIENCE!!!
Okay, I will make this short and sweet - This Plasma TV is absolutely the best big-screen experience I have ever witnessed - I have used several large format/hd monitors, Mitsubishi, Proscan, Sony, etc., and this one outperforms them all -

To those who complained about the problems with attaching their computer or video game machines - it's very simple DON'T!!! This TV and it's Wireless Components are designed for one thing - ABSOLUTE VIDEO - from high definition programming or Blu Ray DVD ------It is not an add-on for a Playstation or Xbox!!!

It is really a shame that SamSung is being criticized for designing and producing this TV - I can only state that if you want an unbelievable High Definition and Blu Ray picture, you owe it to yourself to check this instrument out.........THANK YOU SAMSUNG!!!

Shame on Samsung!
Shame on them for not plastering across the box of this unit in big red letters "CANNOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING BUT TV AND DVD!!!!!" The delay between the wireless box and the screen makes playing video games impossible and using the set with a computer in a business environment for things like powerpoint presentations a major annoyance. Why even release the thing until you have sufficient technology to fix this problem? We aren't THAT desperate for a wireless plasma! These days, even an elderly couple who would never in a million years consider playing a video game on their TV needs to take this into consideration because their grandkids will likely be coming over for the weekenend with their Nintendo Wii. What if they don't find out until a year or so after they purchase it? What a bummer! Like I said, shame on Samsung. This set will really be a letdown to a lot of people at some point during their ownership.

Not good for anything but watch TV delay is 180 ms
The Wireless causes the picture to delay for at least 180ms, your surround reciever needs to be able to delay or it will look like a bad synch'ed movie. Not any good for Wii or PS3, the wireless does break up once i a while, but there is no cable mess at all. I will return this TV and get another with long HDMI cables.

DO NOT USE FOR VIDEO GAMES!
The wireless system creates a delay that makes this TV unsuitable for use with video games. I have both a Nintendo Wii and a computer hooked up to the TV. With both, there is a noticeable and significant onscreen delay. If you simply want to watch television, this product is fine. However, if you want to use it for games, select another TV, you will be disappointed with this one.

Great New Generation LED Backlight LCD HDTV!

I've had this for a month now. I also bought the Samsung BD-P1500 with it. I love both units. I connected them to my Sony HT-CT100 soundbar and I am perfectly happy with the sound. Yes, I know the soundbar does not do HD sound,etc,.. but I don't care because the soundbar is quite slick with the TV. Plus, it does what I want it to do so no complaint.

As for the TV. The picture is so crisp and clear and the black level really black that it took a while to get used to watching it. I have a DirecTV HD DVR attached to it too via HDMI and it is an entirely different level of watching TV. The images look so "real" as my daughter said.

I know the TV can do a lot of other things if you attach it to the internet. But, I bought it really for just watching HD TV and movies. So, I was/am not that concern about its other functions.

Right now, DirecTV just upgraded my DVR to 1080p, so I can't wait to see any program or shows in 1080p. But the 1080i resolution is great as it is. So, no complaint in there either.

BTW, the upconversion from the BD-P1500 looks great too. Also, make sure you use HDMI 1.3b cables. I got mine here from BargainCell for < each.

Better than Sony
Four months ago, we bought the Sony KDL52WL140 from Sams club. Three weeks ago we replaced it with the Samsung LN52A850. What a difference! (but, give Sams club a "thumbs up" because they took the Sony back for a full refund - no problems at all)

The Samsung has more dynamic color than the Sony and the color stays true from wider viewing angles. I know some people complain about the internal speakers on the Samsung but I cannot speak to that issue as we never use the TV speakers anyway. The Samsung is much cooler (as in creates less heat) than the Sony. The Sony was way too hot (even when the brightness and backlighting were set to low levels.)

The Samsung is thinner than the Sony and also has a USB port for playing videos and such from thumb drives, etc.

We could not be happier with the Samsung. Also, the deliver process was fast, smooth, and FREE! Gotta give this puppy 5 stars!

Great TV - "right out of the box"
Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color The price was excellent, the delivery was exactly as promised (gently carried from truck to home, set up where I wanted, wires connected, box taken away if requested) and the unit has performed just as good as when I saw it in the electronics store near my home, just that with no shipping and tax I saved close to 0.00. Vivid colors, no motion blur and the swivel feature on the base comes in handy too! I feel this was a most excellent choice for both quality and price.

Clouding issue on the 52" 850
The TV was fine for a couple of days but then yesterday night, I started noticing patches of light on various parts of the display that looked like 'clouds'. It was very noticeable in low-light situations which unfortunately I am in most of the time when watching tv. In the day-time, this issue is less noticeable. I've since contacted both Amazon and Samsung to try to resolve this problem and Samsung is going to send a tech out to take a look at the set to see if they can fix the issue first. It seems like this issue is more of a problem on the 650/750 series from what I researched and this is the reason why I opted to spend more money for the 850 but it's disappointing to have to go through the hassle of either getting this fixed or trying to return the tv, all within a narrow time period. Check CNET-Samsung forums for other users that have the clouding issue.

Happy in Florida
This product (Samsung LN52A850 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color) has performed well. I was really happy with the service from Amazon.

Beautiful, Amazing, WOW!!!
This set is amazing. I had a 61" rear projection that had a good picture, but It wasn't anywhere near as good as this. The picture quality is incredible. When scenes involve people in a room for instance it's like looking in on them through a window every detail is bright, vivid, and crisp. And that is with stand definition. I record some old black & White shows and they have never looked so good. High definition is nothing short of spectacular. This set can be set to deliver a 60 hrtz or 120 hrtz refresh. The 60 is very good, but the 120 takes it to the next level. The higher refresh rate gives near Blue Ray quality to scenes where there is distant details in the background. These details become visible with the higher refresh rate. I'm seeing absolutely no artifacts in the picture at all.
The viewing angles are where I see a big difference from what I'm used to. The picture quality shows little or no change no matter how far to the side you get. I've laid on the floor directly below the set and the picture is great, and even when I stand right next to it and look down on it the picture is still great.
There are plenty of inputs, including 4 hdmi ports. All these different input ports are accessible using the remote. The remote has all the usual features, but it also includes a click wheel that I have found to work well. Clicking the center of the click wheel brings up a menu of the many features on this TV.I won;t bother listing them here, there's a great list on the site. Once the list comes up you can scroll and click through the many features to use them or turn them off.
The screen is only 2 inches thick, and the whole set doesn't weigh very much at all. You do see some glare on the screen mostly during the day. The screen can be pivoted thought an that helps a lot. The base is very stable. I have the set sitting on a sturdy but narrow table and because most of the weight of the set is in the base the TV sits nicely and isn't tippy at all.
I checked this set out at show room with many LCD's and plasma's on display and this set had what I say is the best picture by far. Even in a large room with a lot of light.
I recommend this TV without the slightest hesitation.

Product description error
I have purchased this TV and it is splendid. Unfortunately, the Amazon product description is wrong: the TV does not have an ethernet port and will not connect to the Internet. Photos of the connectors that have been posted to this page by consumers show no ethernet port. There is no mention in the product manual about an ethernet port and Samsung customer service tells me that it has none. This is a minor loss and doesn't detract from the worthiness of the product. (I spent 20 minutes on hold with Amazon after writing the foregoing. They agree that the product description is wrong and should be corrected. So, if you read this review but find no mention in the description of an ethernet port you will understand why.)

Samsung Rocks
I bought this tv about 2 weeks ago through Amazon.com. Got free shipping with it. The shipping company was a bit late in delivering it to me as they did not have my phone number and the agent who took my call got confused about the time zone. A freight company that gets confused about time zones is not good! However the TV did finally get to me in perfect condition. The delivery folks do not unpack it for you, but if you get "white glove" delivery apparently they do that and set it up for you. I chose the 630 model as the face of the tv is non reflective--a big difference when you watch tv in the daytime or at night with some lights on. Picture quality is excellent, set up was very easy. I bought a Bello TV stand ( ON amazonBell'O PVS-4218HG Flat Panel Audio Video System (Gloss Black 6))and it is the PERFECT stand for it, I connected my new PS3 to it via an HDMI cable I also bought on Amazon (Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue) .99!! )and the games AND blu ray movies are simply amazing. I've heard that the PS3 also up-converts regular DVDs, not sure if true or fable, but they look fantastic as well. Very happy with purchase and overall service!

Trick to research
Just bought this television from Amazon after months of research and visits to the typical retailers. With the western sun beating into my house I decided the matte finish was the way to go. While doing picture comparisons with the Sony KDL-52W4100 and the Samsung LNa52650 in Circuit City I noticed the 630 looked kind of dull. A nice salesperson saw the same thing and changed the 630 picture from "standard" to "dynamic". The other two sets had been set this way and looked much more "vivid". Holy cow. It made all the difference. I purchased the 630 that night.

My Researched Choice
I reviewed and studied this whole flatscreen tv jungle for over a year and this was the TV I chose. I am obsessive over buying the BEST for what I can afford. So, first I researched the difference between plasma and LCD. Down to the end I just had to choose LCD though if the price was right I would have taken a Pioneer Kuro Elite plasma. That was a big hurdle but allowed me to focus on brand, quality and price. Brand came down to Sony, Samsung and Panasonic. I wasn't going to go with Samsung until I came across the 630 for the one defining feature... the matte screen. All other Samsungs have the "Plasma shiny screen" which is AWESOME if your family room is a movie theater, but I have windows and therefore pointless and actually hurts the quality of your picture. I then saw the 630 (which only came out like in late July or August), which is essentially the 650 with the matte screen and one less HDMI outlet and a few hundred bucks cheaper. No brainer. My mind was made. I've owned it since early October and haven't looked back. Love my purchase and I got a great deal for a little over 00. At the price I see it now on Amazon (just under 1900), I think it's an EXCELLENT deal.

ooh, if I were to add one thing that I don't care as much about, it's the 120HZ. Cool if on sports or nature shows, but for regular TV or movies I don't like it and leave it on the 'low' setting.

Better Than The 650's! See For Yourself!
I have had the LN52A630 for a week now and I have to tell you that it is clearly the best overall choice for an LCD TV with 120hz. I recently wrote a similar review for the LN46A630. I chose to replace it with the 52" only because our livingroom is too large for the 46".

I'm not sure why more people are not going for the 630's over the 650's just for the glare issue alone. My friend has an A650 and in my opinion the reflections are just as bad in his living room as they were in the showroom of the big box stores with the 650. I have two windows directly opposite the TV and a large bow window to the right. My concern was how little control I would have with that much natural light hitting the TV. So far, my 630 has past the evening lighting test with flying colors. With all of the possible lights on in this large room, there is absolutely no reflecting light visible on the TV. During the day with the Sunlight filtering directly into the back windows hitting the TV, there is no reflections to speak of. Awesome, consistent picture on the "matte" screen.

Thanks to the reviews of the 650's about the reflections, I took a chance with the 630 with the "matte" screen and am I ever glad that I did. The difference is significant and because of this reason, I truly believe that the 630 has a better overall picture. It's all about personal preference. Sure it's got one less HDMI and slightly less contrast ratio because of the screen but there are more than enough settings to compensate for this.

I am still making adjustments and learning just what this TV is capable of, but I got to tell you that the Celtics/Hawks game in HD was nothing less than orgasmic. I was in awe switching between that and the Hockey game in HD. Unbelievable!

This TV is the way to go if you want all of the features of the 6 series but not all of the reflections. Get this TV, you will be happy that you did!

Good TV
TV works well, sound good and has a viewable picture from different angles. Would purchase another one.

Satisfactory for what I needed
We had a 13" tv/vcr combo that we used in a small motor home. As we now have mostly DVDs, we were looking for a replacement that we could also used on our srceen porch. Our size limitation was the space in the RV available for TV. This really left only 19' or smaller. After a lot of looking we decided on the Samsung 19". We have been satisfied with it both in the RV and on the porch. I would have preferred something larger for the porch, but it is acceptable. The picture and color are excellent. As some reviewers have said, the tuner is a bit slow to react to on/off and change of channels. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with it. AS we all are more used to larger screens and more powerful technoligy, the Samsung should only be compared to similar models. 720p is not 1080p. The TV has a very complete set of connections. My only complaint has been the audio volume via the companion Samsung DVD player we purchased with it. That has been less than best. This led me to have several conversations with Samsung support. I would give it a 3-4 out of 5. Each support representive supports only one product type; i.e., TV is one and DVD player is a second. The two do not meet. One gave me some suggestions; one transferred me and I was hung up on; and the last one suggested I reset the DVD player. Enough about the DVD plyer. The TV has done what we wanted.

Purty Picutre, Great Value!
Having moved across country temporarily to find the furnished apartment furnished with an ancient tiny TV, I set myself the task of finding an affordable interim replacement. My "real" TV is a larger sized LCD Samsung and I have been very happy with it for the last two years, so I was not hesitant to get another Samsung, especially with the good reviews of this model. I was not disappointed! This TV has a beautiful picture. It is crisp, clear, responsive (for video games), and has great color.

The sound, oddly enough, is much better than my bigger Samsung. Perhaps Samsung has inconsistent speaker quality? I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the speakers, but I really find the sound quality to be quite clear and rich for such a small TV. Makes me think if I were to buy another and got crappy sound, I'd either return the TV or have Samsung fix it.

I've noticed that the menu options and firmware, while closely resembling those of my older TV, are in fact much improved. The channel selection is more intelligent, and my favorite thing is the picture resizing options. They are far more flexible. On my old TV, they are frustrating and I always seem to have black bars in one direction or another. This TV will cycle through any option you could want at the touch of a button. Wish I could upgrade my old TV's firmware, sigh. But on this tv, you can! There's an option to upgrade from USB in the future in case there are more improvements to the firmware. Joy to a geek like me, I suppose.

The plan was to sell this TV when I move back home, but I am sorely tempted to keep it for use in my kitchen, I like it so much.

Oh, and there was no sticker on the screen, so I guess that's no longer an issue? I like the glossy frame, and while it does reflect a bit of light, the screen itself is so vivid and engaging, even for its small size, that I don't notice any glare at all while I'm watching the TV. Also, even though this set is small, the clear picture makes it more visible than you'd think, though I do miss my big screen!

In short, if this is the size you need, then this is a great TV, especially for the price!

Crystal clear quality at a great price.
This is as good a buy on a TV as you will find anywhere. It has the same crystal clear picture that Samsung big screens are known for, and the size is perfect for my office. The sleek design made it easy for me to hang it on the wall just four feet from where I sit at my computer station in the corner, allowing for a little extra desk space (my designs are neat; my desk is not).

The sound is more than adequate for a set this size, but there are complete AV and Component inputs on the back (plus PC In), so you can create a robust system if that's what you want.

I'm not a big fan of the glossy black finish on the frame, but it's not bad and the transparent lip on the bottom is a nice touch. All in all, you really have to love it, and at this price you can't go wrong.

Good little TV for Kitchen or Bath
No complaints, works as expected. Audio is sufficient for our needs. We opted for white to match wall for flush mount.

Great medium size TV
Samsung LN26A450 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV I have always been a Sony man but this TV has sold me on Samsung! I bought it for the bedroom and it is really a nice good looking TV as well as a great performer. The audio sound is terrific for it's size and I couldn't be more satisfied. You can leave the default settings as they are or tweak it to suit yourself because there are so many adjustments (If you want to) The picture is also great and does not leave you wanting for anything. You can't go wrong on this one and I highly recommend it.

Very Good HD Picture
Very good HD picture, I have two Panasonic Plasmas, and this for its size, is just as good of a picture.

If you are looking for a small HD set, this is it.

Samsung ... Ok.
Not a bad product, but the clarity could be better. The picture looks quite grainy when viewing videos from the internet via an S-video cable. Yet to try HDMI. Haven't tried regular TV cable. Nice finish though. Great delivery by Amazon. Arrived prior to estimated delivery date.

Shiva's Review
All the HDMI ports on the TV are not working. When I reported the problem, I was told that the TV needs to be shipped to their location at my expense and that it would take upto 3 weeks for the TV to be fixed and returned to me. I was not given the option to return the product and get a replacement.

Amazing picture
Could not ask for more in a TV. All the connections you could ever want. QAM tuner picks up local channels in HD through cable. Picture is amazing. Highly recommend if looking for a TV this size for a bedroom or other small area. Ours is out on the terrace mounted using the Peerless PA740 Articulating Wall Mount. Great combination at a great price.

WOW!
MY first HDTV. Ordered TV on Thursday, it arrived on Tuesday via CEVA. The whole thing took about 20 minutes for me to set-up. Setting up the stand involved screwing in about 7 screws and I was in business. I picked up a HDTV box with a HDMI port(Comcast) and hooked up to the TV. Pressed the ON button and--WOW!

For those complaints about how long it takes to start up after you hit the power button, I'd say it takes about 3 seconds, if you are that pressed for time you ought to chill out.

The picture is great and the price is right. If you are thinking of purchasing this product, you couldn't get a better little present for yourself.

Samsung 32-inch 720p LCD is great starter TV
This is the very first flat screen TV I've ever bought and it did not disappoint. As advertised, the picture quality is excellent--even for a 720p TV, the HD channels really are striking. And although some reviews have questioned the sound quality, I think this TV has very good sound for the room I have it in. It has a lot of extra features like HDMI ports that I am not yet using but will allow me growth room to do so. Amazon price was the best on this set -- free delivery took 1-2 weeks, but when it showed up the delivery folks set it up for me no questions asked. I'd recommend this set for everyone.

Can't beat Samsung
My 2nd Samsung TV. Delivery was ahead of schedule and installation was done as promised. Samsung is the best. Will buy all my electronics from Amazon. Amazon & Samsung are #1!!!

Great picture - Easy installation !!!
I mounted this LCD on a wall. It looks great and the picture is excellent. The LCD has the correct supports in the rear for mounting. Also, duplicate input/output connections on the SIDE and REAR for cable, etc., makes it real convenient.
Amazon price was best I could find - -100 less than the big box stores and NO tax. LCD ordered on Sunday - delivered on Thursday !!! Strongly recommend.

Samsung LN32450 - excellent!
The TV required some simple assembly but was ready to hook up in under ten minutes. Hook up was only complicated by feeding the cables through my cabinet. The picture is astounding! I shopped this brand for about four months and am very happy with the purchase.
We have HD satellite and are always laughing at how much "worse" CSI (and all the others) is now that we can see all the grisly details with a clarity that makes us cringe. Can hardly wait to view some really seriously gory "splatter" film just for the heck of it!
Samsung has a great TV.

White Gloves CEVA is not good
Delivery service was less than adequate. One man came to deliver tv. He was unable to transport it to second floor and hook it up to see if it worked. My wife had to help carry it up and hook it up.

This TV is Freakin' Sweet!
I ordered this Friday morning (11/14/2008), took advantage of the free shipping, white glove delivery and 0 off the Samsung 1500 Blu-ray player. The 1500 shipped out later that same evening, while the TV itself shipped out on Monday.

I was a little hesitant about CEVA shipping it, as I haven't heard of them prior to purchasing this TV. The reviews I have read on here have been mixed, and I was a little dismayed to see that Amazon's estimated arrival date wasn't until 11/26/08. I kept tracking the package online and saw it was actually in my area on Wednesday. A quick call to CEVA and they set up delivery the next day at 9:00 am. Got an immediate confirmation email, and a call at 8:30 this morning verifying delivery. They showed up right on time (a little early even), brought the TV to my room, unpacked it and placed it on my TV stand. They had offered to hook up all of the connections for me but I declined, part of the fun of getting a new HDTV is setting it up yourself ;-) They made sure the sound worked great, no dead pixels or lines before they had me sign. A+++ with CEVA, could not have asked for anything better.

Now onto the TV itself. The TOC is nice, though not too noticeable to me. The sound is great, granted I have a small room and don't have it cranked up, but I'm still very pleased. Hooked it up to my Samsung Blu-ray, Popped in "The Mist Blu-ray" and was immediately blown away. A quick search on Google gave me some suggestions on specific color settings and I was able to sit back and be amazed for the next two hours. Some scenes looked as if I was really there, it's that amazing!

Since I have a Blu-ray dvd player that is also a Samsung, I can controll both items with just one remote. If I pop in a dvd, it will automatically turn the tv on, which is nice. The downside is, is that if I am watching a dvd and puse it to switch over to something else, then it will stop my dvd and I'll have to find where I left off manually, which can be a little annoying. One broght side of this set-up, is taht when I pop in a dvd to watch while I fall asleep, the sleep timer will turn my tv AND dvd player off, which is great.

Still trying to figure out how to set up the RSS feeds with my wireless adapter plugged into the usb port, but I'll look again after work.

As many have said, the preloaded features are cool the first few moments, but I seriously doubt I'll look at them ever again. The wheel on the remote can be a little tricky, but overall not too bad. If you get too frustrated, you can still click in the direction you want, instead of using the wheel to scroll.

I'll be updating this review every so often to keep everyone informed on how the set holds up after time, as well as any issues or whatnot that hopefully will not occur.

Love that TV. AMAZING HD picture
I really like that TV. I went with the 750 and really happy about that. The design is superb. The remote is a bit clunky. The HD picture is AMAZING. Blu ray (from PS3) is amazing on that TV. PS3 gaming are fantastic. Sound is good. Wii looks very good as well. Lots of HDMI connectors which is a plus.
120Hz looks great. No ghosting images. Sports events look amazing. Things are so sharp, you can see anything in the image. I feel like I put a better glasses when I watch that TV.
What can I say. It was a great buy. Samsung has a very good product line.

Shipping was awesome as well. (Ceva)

Go 4 it!

This tv is AMAZING! Highly recommended and affordable.
I cannot say enough good things about this tv, I highly recommend it if you are shopping for a new 40" tv. First off let me say to date the picture is superb out of the box. A little tweaking the picture using the menus and it looks even better as you watch Blu-Ray movies like Iron Man or Batman Begins. The PS3 is the perfect way to demonstrate how amazing web browsing can be on this screen and the Xbox 360 also outline the amazing picture quality of this tv. I spent 95 when I ordered this from Amazon, got free shipping and a guy from CEVA wheeled the tv into my house, took the box off and even offered to set it up. I told him I could handle it and once I started watching cable, playing games and watch Blu-Ray movies, I was confident I had arrived to the high definition land of milk and honey. I cannot get over how amazing this tv is. Run out and buy this! Oh and I received this tv within 4 days of my order and I live in California. The 120 HZ frame mode looks weird, almost like quick or fast movements are put on fast forward. Its unatural when you watch tv or movies. I highly recommend you turn it off. In games, i havent tried it, maybe its awesome since games are fictional recreations that never quite look photo realistic to begin with. Anyways thats the only bad thing I can think of off the top of my head and even then, its not a bad feature. Just an added feature you might get used to the more you use it.

Wow!
Since everyone's got their own issues and configuration, I'll talk about our configuration, not just the TV itself.

Bottom line: this TV is fantastic.

We just got it along with the Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray Player and a cheap HDMI cable. Amazon threw in two free Blu-ray disks. For a couple of bucks a month we've upgraded our Netflix subscription to Blu-ray.

Delivery of the TV was simple--we inspected for physical damage, checked the TV to make sure it worked, and sent the deliveryman on his way.

We get over-the-air TV, not cable or satellite. I just plugged in the antenna cable, powered up the TV. In a minute it found all the channels (regular and DT and HD), set itself up, and was good to go. The only mistake it made was on Daylight Savings Time--it thinks it has already ended, so I had to manually reset the time.

Stunning picture, elegant design, right-out-of-box set-up. The Samsung Blu-ray remote works perfectly with this TV. It's a little cleaner layout than the nice but many-buttoned Samsung TV remote. (Our second Blu-ray disk displayed an irksome "Bonus View' box, but a quick Google search led me to a button sequence--Popup Menu/Info/Popup Menu--to make it go away.)

The TV speakers are great. Perhaps down the road we'll add a speaker system , but in our not-so-big living room the TV sound seems plenty good enough.

We've got lots of windows and sunlight, but the screen of this Samsung is fine even in full daylight. The touch-of-red is subtle, and the overall look is sleek and elegant.

We waited a long time to replace our 1991 Panasonic Prism 19" TV, and did a lot of reading of reviews. You won't want to wait as long as we did to get this great TV.

HDMI
Make sure you buy an HDMI cable. Much better than composite or S-video. Plus you only need one cable for both video and audio. Great picture. Make sure your cable box has HDMI output. If not call cable company and ask for a swap.

BEST YET
You need to have a good source of hd programming in your area to get the full benifits this tv has to offer. its breath taking. a blu ray player gives full 1080p.but even with 1080i that most cable broad cast in its great to see bright bold colors. it wont make you sea sick on fast pace sports or action movies with the added 120hz. im still in awe of its beauty. if thinking of buying sony dont do it .Samsung is a step above and for less $$$ the 650 is just as nice with a couple less feature not much different for most users.

Amazing TV
This is an incredible TV. After previewing it at a store, we decided to purchase it online to save a few $$$$. The picture seems to be almost better than when we saw it in the store.

Delivery was a little slower than expected, but, it arrived only one day late. Box arrived with no visible damage at all.

This is a great TV for a bright room. The display is very crisp. Colors are incredible. Sunlight in the room does not take away from the colors on the TV. Setup of the TV was fairly straightforward.

WLink option takes some "tweaking" to get it to work. We are now able to display pictures, play movies and music from our computer directly to the TV. That was a big selling point for us on this TV. Be sure to download the latest version of the share manager software.

Awesome all around TV with a little more
This LCD TV is amazing. I spent months looking for the right TV for the right price. The color contrast ratio is one of the best on any LCD TV. Playing games, watching HDTV, and Blue Ray is stunning. I only really looked the visual capabilities of the TV's, but was surprised when I turned on the sound of the TV. It's clear and crisp.

The auto motion plus is simply amazing for sports. It's a totally new experience. With 4 HDMI ports there is plenty of to go around for all devices.

The TV has many extra little features like USB side mount that allows very easy access to set up all those home movies.

The info Link is a cool little feature that allows you to see the weather, stock, and news. This is a cool little feature that is just nice to have.

My only negative to this TV has nothing to do with the TV, but the remote itself. It always seems to stop working at random time and work at others. The remote is not nearly as sleek as the TV. But get your self a universal remote and that is simply taken care of.

Great HDTV!
I have this TV mounted on my wall using a Peerless Universal tilt wall mount for 37" - 60" flat panel TVs. The TV is great, no problems with shipping, or install. The picture is just fantastic, I have the Direct TV HD with all the bells and whistles. The sound is pretty good when using just the TV, but better with a surround sound receiver and speakers. I have the network hooked to it, and a LACIE NAS drive with all my music and pictures. It all works as expected. I also purchased the Samsung PB-D1500 Blue ray player. This combo is nice as the player is in a cabinet and the TV transmits the remote control signals to it without an additional repeater. I have read other reviews which seemed to suggest that the touch of red was annoying. The Touch of Red does not even light up, it's so subtle that you can only see it when direct sunlight hits it. I'd recommend this TV to anyone I know. (In fact there are 3 family members that have Samsung flat screen TV's now!)
