Completely Blown Away
Like many, I've done a lot of research and shopping around for LCDs. For me it came down to the Samsung 850 and the Sony XBR6. What did it for me however was the vast number of available feature on the Samsung and seeing them side by side in local retail store, the picture quality on the Samsung seemed more natural and rich.

So I purchased this TV the day after Christmas and it arrived to Pilot Shipping's local distibution center on New Years Eve. Being the impatient person that I am I opted to go and pick it up with a friend instead of having them deliver it which was another 3 days away.

It took me about 45 minutes to remove my old TV and re-cable my home theatre system, but once done, I have to admit that I was blown away by how truly exceptional this TV is. My girlfriend and I joke all the time that everything you watch looks like a reality show because of how crisp and clear the picture truly is. The Anynet+ feature is really a bonus too since I have a Samsung receiver. One remote controller does infact control your entire theatre system.

There was one hiccup though. During my research I had read posts about "white clouds" and this was quite noticible and distracting when viewing dark scenes. So why still a 5 star rating you ask? Well I proceeded to contact Samsung customer service and was very pleased by how prompt they were in trying to schedule a technician out to take a look at the TV. I've been out of town due to the holidays so I haven't scheduled a date for the technician as yet but I'll be sure to follow up to let you know how that whole process went.

Customer service was one of my biggest concerns as I had also heard that Samsung did not provide timely or prompt service. This doesn't look to be the case.

There is nothing to second guess about this product! It's worth the price and you won't have buyers remorse.

Amazing Picture
I'm amazed at how beautiful the picture is on this TV. An astonishing difference between this and my old TV. I think many times electronics manufacturers are just trying to get you to buy new products and there is not a big improvement that warrants the replacing old with new.

My old TV was about 6 or 7 years old. I'm not even sure what the maximum resolution was. I had reservations about replacing a perfectly good functioning TV.

This Samsung is 1080p with 120hz refresh rates. The difference is truly amazing and I have to say this sizable purchase was well worth the money given the improvement in quality to a product my family uses on a daily basis.

I waited over 1 month and the product was not sent...........Christmas came and no TV- I was very disappointed

I have been keeping my eyes on a Sony 52-inch model for 2 years, that same TV is still well over 00. This model Samsung was highly rated in consumer reports and when you see it in the store.....its amazing. Price this TV at Bestbuy. If your serious about purchasing a 52-inch LCD HDTV 120htz the Sony models cant touch this one. Excellent TV

BEST PICTURE EVER
First off I purchased this TV on Dec 23rd and did not expect delivery until first week in Jan. Well the Delivery Guy from the shipping company called me first thing the day after christmas to tell me he could deliver it that day. I was going to be out till after 2 but he said no problem and was in my driveway at 2:30. He was GREAT.
As far as the TV goes it is more that I expected. I had a 42 Panasonic LCD that was a piece of junk so I was a little leary of getting another LCD TV. But after reading a lot and seeing them in stores I settled on the Samsung and glad I did. I have friends with Plasma's and even a 22K Ronko and they are amazed at the quality of the picture and the amazing features. I am going to buy a smaller one for my two sons to play their WII game on in our play room.
