Sharp Aquos LC65d64U Review
My wife and I spent hours researching different large LCD TVs. We decided on the Sharp Aquos 65 inch. This is the 07-08 model. The 09 model is much more expensive. The price through Amazon was over a grand less expensive than our local stores. We used standard free shipping and the TV arrived within one week. Picture is beautiful, true and clear. Blacks are black, not grey. At first, the picture seemed a little dark. After a few minor adjustments the picture is bright, clear, and colors are true. I do not believe you will find a better LCD 65 inch at any price. I am sure you can spend tons more on a TV with a few more input or output options but why in the world would anyone want to waste the money. This has all the inputs/outputs you need. Bottom line, this is one of the best deals on the market today.

Excellent TV at a great price point
I purchased this at the sale price with the free blu ray player. The tv is simple to set up. I connected it to my Verizon Fios set op box using an HDMI cable. Once you've made setting adjustments, the picture on this set is beautiful. For me, I found that the backlight and brightness are by default a little low.

I rented a hidef on demand version of Kung Fu Panda via FIOS and it looked amazing.

Additionally using the hue adjustments on the advanced setup sections, I needed to adjust the colors so that the yellows would appear more yellow. Either way, you will be very satisfied with the picture quality.

I am using a Yamaha rx-v863 receiver for the surround sound, so I do not have an opinion on the audio.

Got this as a present for Christmas. Wow! what a great present, even if it was from myself.... Delivery was on time and they helped my wife open the box to check for defects. TV looks great and works perfectly out of the box. Tweaked picture settings easily to my preference. I was a bit worried about a window and being able to see it in a reflection... nothing!! Combined with the PS3 as a blue-ray player or gaming console, the picture is nothing short of fabulous. No fumes that I noticed at all! I highly recommend this TV!!

Amazing product and service
I just recieved my 65" tv and I love it!! I researched big screens for almost a year before buying a sharp lcd. It was a great choice! The picture is wonderful and the size is theater like! I read several reveiws and people complained about delivery, dead pixels, and a smell coming from the tv. All I can say is I order on dec. 24th and was scheduled for delivery on the 6th of Jan. I recieved my tv early on the 30th of dec. The delivery guy was nice and unbox it for me and help set it on the stand. I hooked it up and the pic was amazing!!!! even just standard def was brilliant. and blu-ray oh baby! There were no dead pixels and no smell at all! if you want a big screen and can handle the price (I got mine around 00.00) it is so worth it. you won't be disappointed. ps3 looks amazing too!

Sharp Aquos LC65D64U Incredible picture
I purchased this LCD to replace a Samsung 46" in our family room. The Samsung IS a great LCD but I wanted larger and to transfer the Samsung to the workout room. The Sharps' picture is incredible. The colors are so vibrant. The "white glove" delivery was excellent and faster than expected. Planet Earth BR is amazing on this LCD. There was a promotional free Sharp BR with this and both work great. Thank you AMAZON! I continue to be an extremely satisfied customer.
