What's the deal with channel selection?
I bought this set because it had the biggest picture size that would fit under my kitchen cabinets. Picture quality is good; sound is OK. But selecting channels is a real hassle: apparently it can only be done by marching up or down via channel selection buttons or by entering 2 groups of three numbers separated by a hyphen (i.e. 000-000). Just pressing the channel number does nothing.
Unless I'm missing something really obvious, this has to be one of the most bone-headed control schemes ever.

Perfect transaction
TV arrived in perfect condition. This particular model was unavailable in the local stores, so was happy to find it at AMAZON. Fast delivery
A+++ Thanks

Good 13" TV
The Sansui DTV 1300 is a very good small TV. Nothing very fancy, but everything works as advertised.

Filled the bill!
What I needed was a simple analog monitor. Since this unit had an input for composit video, I was hopeful it would suffice. Thankfully, it filled the bill. I would have preferred that the connection were on the back, but can live with it as is. The picture is clear and sharp even if slightly cropped from the CRT mask.

Sansui DTV
I thought I was originally getting an Orion t.v. However, that mislabeling does not diminish the t.v.'s performance. Digital t.v.s still require an antenna. (I have two antennas) I don't plan to add cable because paying for the internet is enough. The t.v. performs okay. I have to constantly re adjust the antenna when I change channels. However, the performance is not too bad. I'm just glad to be ready for February 2009 without having to buy a 00 television that I will need help in moving if I decide to change apartments.
